Telehealth allows patients to be seen by their physician without ever leaving their home. Patients can use their smartphone, tablet device, or home desktop computer (with a microphone and camera) to carry out many doctor visits.
Telehealth visits are billed like any other typical doctor visit, and many insurance providers cover those visits like a typical doctor visit. In the case where a patient doesn't have insurance, or the insurance company doesn't cover the visit, we offer a reduced self-pay/cash price. We recommend patients check with their insurance providers to verify coverage of telehealth appointments.
Simple! Once you make an appointment with Draper Dermatology, you will receive a link to set up your patient portal. Once your portal is activated, you are able to see Dr. Urry from the safety and comfort from your home. It's that easy!
No, unfortunately, there are some visits that require an in-office visit, such as biopsies, freezes, and laser treatments. For those visits, Draper Dermatology is reserving one day each week for in-office appointments, to ensure that we can continue to offer high-quality dermatology services, while maintaining CDC-recommended standards for our patients and staff.
